How to use Pentart Pigments, Paste dispersion and powders

Pentart has many different pigment options on offer that can be used in a variety of ways and mixed with other mediums to achieve a multitude of results.

All of the above can be used with :

Resin


Let's break each one of them down!


 


Metal pigment powders


Metallic pigment powders created with real metal. Can be mixed in with any of the above mediums or sprinkled over the top of glue mediums as well as perfect for evidencing cracks in any 2 step crackle mediums. 

Mix with Pigment fix to create paint that will look like real metal. 


Art Mica powder


Extra fine mineral powder in shiny pearlescent colours. 

Can be mixed in to resin, diluted to create mixed media sprays, combined with Pigment fix to create beautiful pearlescent paints or mixed in with Gloss heavy body gel to create 3D paste ideal for raised stencil effect. 


Available in 13 different colours.


Pigment Powder


Pigment in powder form that can be used for a variety of different techniques.

Available in white, glow in the dark, neon, metallic and chameleon

colours to help you achieve the desired result.


Pigment Dispersion Transparent & Paste


Transparent: 

Highly concentrated pigment for colouring transparent water based mediums such as varnishes, resin, gels and more.

Note: This is a very highly pigmented product so add it slowly and mix in with your medium until you reach desired colour. 


Paste: 

Highly concentrated pigment for coulouring opaque mediums such as clay, texture pastes or paints. Same as transparent pigment - add gradually until you reach desired effect.
